Writer: Katie Bickell lives in Sherwood Park Alberta with her husband, Freddy, their daughters, Cailena Marie and Chloe Abigale, and a Beagle named Tweak. Katie is a full time mom, owns and operates the writing company, YMF Writing Services, is editor of the woman's magazine, BeautyBliss, is winner of the 2011 writer's award, "The Voices of Motherhood," and has penned the published books, "Sunbeams" and "Hope is in Our Hands." Between motherhood and freelance writing, Katie is working on her first upcoming novel, "The Last Ordinary Day." Katie enjoys reading, running, hot yoga, gourmet cooking, gardening,wine, and simply, life in general. Katie believes that arts should shine light on what is true, celebrate what is good, and offer hope to humanity, which is what she strives to accomplish with her work.
